Course information

In the standard Algebra course one considers associative operations only, however it is customary to use operations that satisfy more tricky axioms in distinct areas of mathematics. The most obvious example are Lie algebras. In this course we consider the other types of non-associative algebras closely related to algebraic groups: alternative algebras, Jordan algebras, structurable algebras.
