The department organizes a New Year colloquia series on December 27 – January 8. Our faculty and guest speakers will give (mostly) short talks on current results and problems in their research areas. The speakers include Stanislav Smirnov, Haakan Hedenmalm and others. The schedule will be available at https://math-cs.spbu.ru/new-year-colloquia/ (it is preliminary and incomplete at the moment). The speakers will try their best to make their talks accessible to a wide mathematical audience, including master students. Everyone is welcome!
