The Chebyshev Laboratory at Saint Petersburg State University (SPbSU Russia) expects to have 3-4 postdoctoral positions beginning in the fall semester of 2018 (or earlier) contingent on funding availability. We are looking for candidates with outstanding research potential for a two+one-year post-doctoral appointment with a salary starting at 83,500 RUR and reduced teaching. Along with mathematicians working in areas of traditional interest in the Laboratory – which include complex and real analysis, algebra, probability and mathematical physics – we are also interested in building up in other areas, including geometry/topology, dynamical systems, PDE etc. One or two of these positions will be joint with the new Laboratory of Modern Algebra and Applications of SPbSU headed by Dipendra Prasad.
